New Zealand and South Africa will meet in the fifth match of the Zimbabwe T20I tri-series 2025 on July 22 at Harare Sports Club. Both teams have already booked their place in the final and will use this game as preparation.
New Zealand have played two matches so far and won both. They started the series by beating South Africa by 21 runs as they successfully defended a total of 173. In their second game, they chased down 121 runs against Zimbabwe in just 13.5 overs and won by eight wickets.
South Africa, led by Rassie van der Dussen, have played three matches and won two, both against Zimbabwe. In the previous outing, they knocked the hosts out of the race to the final, handing them a seven-wicket defeat.

This will be the second meeting between New Zealand and South Africa in the series. In the previous match, New Zealand came out on top with a 21-run win.
