Virat Kohli was all over Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 46 of IPL 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, April 8. He scored 51 runs off 46 balls in RCB's win over Delhi Capitals.
It was a comprehensive win in the end for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, one that took them to the top of the points table. Chasing 163 runs to win, RCB chased down the target with nine balls to spare.
The hero of this match for RCB was Krunal Pandya. He first bowled a spell of 28 runs and one wicket in his four overs. Then, with the bat, he scored an unbeaten 73 runs off 46 balls to see his team home.

Earlier in the match, Delhi Capitals posted 162 runs for 8 wickets. KL Rahul (41 runs off 34 balls) and Tristan Stubbs (34 runs off 18 balls) were the top two run-getters for DC. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets for 33 runs, and Josh Hazlewood picked up two wickets for 36 runs.
Kohli anchored the chase for RCB, and with Krunal Pandya, he added a 119-run stand after they were struggling at 26 runs for three wickets in the fifth over. The six-wicket win was RCB's seventh of the season from their first 10 games. They are on 14 points and topping the IPL 2025 points table.

Virat Kohli was seen having a good time after the match as he played a few pranks with his friends from the opposition team. He also had an emotional moment when he met his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, and touched his feet.
Krunal Pandya was named the Man of the Match for his contribution with the bat. He also spoke about his knock and the presence of Kohli during his knock.
"It is always good to see the results. Sometimes when you have put the hard work behind the scenes and feels good when it comes off. It is quite satisfying. My role was clear.
