India vs England Match Preview & Where to Watch Live? India Tour of England 2025, 4th Test

India will lock horns with England in the fourth Test of the ongoing five-match series at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, starting July 23. 

With the hosts leading the series 2-1, India have no room for error. A loss here would mean the fifth Test at The Oval becomes a dead rubber in the context of the series. England clinched a 22-run win in the third Test at Lord’s to go ahead in the series.

India vs England Match Preview 

India are dealing with a growing list of injuries. But there's good news too. Jasprit Bumrah is ready to play. This will be his third Test of the series after skipping the second match in Edgbaston. While the plan was for Bumrah to play only three of the five Tests, the do-or-die situation might force a rethink.

All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the rest of the series due to knee injury. Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep are also not available for the fourth Test due to injuries. Anshul Kamboj, who has just been added to the squad, could be handed a Test debut. He will likely replace Akash Deep. Shardul Thakur is expected to return in place of Reddy.

For England, Liam Dawson is back in the playing XI and will replace Shoaib Bashir, who got injured at Lord's. Dawson will make his first Test appearance in eight years. This is the only change they have made to their playing XI.
