"Filthy Nation Shows Its True Colors Again" – Shikhar Dhawan Fumes on Twitter

Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan didn't hold back on social media after Pakistan once again betrayed the ceasefire agreement. Just hours after both nations had declared peace—thanks to mediation efforts led by Donald Trump—Pakistan launched a drone attack in Srinagar, completely undermining the fragile truce. The so-called ceasefire was shattered within three hours.

Frustrated and furious, Dhawan took to X (formerly Twitter) and lashed out:

"Ghatiya desh ne fir apna ghatiyapan poori duniya ke aage dikha diya"—calling out Pakistan for showing its true colors once again.

His words echoed the sentiments of millions of Indians who are fed up with Pakistan’s repeated violations and double standards.

He wasn’t the only one to vent. Former cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Rahul Tewatia also slammed Pakistan. Sehwag, in typical fashion, used a hard-hitting Hindi proverb to suggest that Pakistan’s behavior won’t ever change.

Sources suggest that the remaining matches are likely to be hosted in the southern states—Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore are currently being considered as the safest options. The BCCI is expected to make a final decision after talks with franchises, sponsors, and stakeholders.
